FAQ

How random is "random"?

We use the Web Crypto API's crypto.getRandomValues(), which is the same cryptographic source used by HTTPS handshakes in your browser.

Could AroraLabs see my generated password?

No. Generation happens entirely client-side. The password exists in the page DOM and clipboard only.

What length should I use?

For most accounts, 16+ characters is plenty. For master/vault passwords, use 20+ or a 5-6 word passphrase.
